Samhain/Halloween Sprite ©

 

There once was a spirit—a cute little sprite

Who got so excited on Halloween night.

Samhain Eve made him feel so gifted

As the veil between worlds that night is lifted

 

The living and the passed can be together

And share the love that they carry forever.

A time to say I love you once more,

Before time and fate again closes the door.

 

But the cute little sprite, knows in his heart

Souls living and passed, will never part.

Although the veil is not always so thin

That  our souls are allowed to walk right in

 

The two worlds will exist side by side.

If you truly believe, they will always abide

In our hearts and our souls, although unseen

And not just on this night of Halloween.
