Greetings!  I have a few exciting events I would like to tell you about this week.  Before I do, I want to share with you some of what happened at Tarot Circle in Jupiter this past Monday.

Tarot Circle is a wonderful way to learn tarot, and to share readings and fellowship with friends.  Did you know that most people who learn tarot never choose to read on a professional level?  For most enthusiasts, tarot remains a fun hobby, a tool of self-reflection and an opportunity to enjoy a community of insightful people.

What does it take to learn tarot?  It only takes a tarot deck and a commitment to learn!

Tarot Circle meets monthly in Jupiter and West Palm Beach, and online with Webex.

At each Tarot Circle meeting, we discuss a different topic.  Our topic for this past Monday was the suit of Pentacles, which relates to the element of Earth.  Interestingly (there are no coincidences) one of our members had just purchased the new Gaian Tarot, which has as its theme reverence for the planet. 

A great way to study tarot is to compare different tarot decks.  At this meeting, we had the opportunity to compare this new, modern deck with the standard tarot images.  It gave us a deeper understanding of how the Earth element is expressed in each card of the Pentacles suit.

We also did some compare/contrast exercises within the Minor Arcana.  Specifically, we compared/contrasted the four Aces, and then the Ten of Pentacles with the Ten of Cups.

So, what happens at Tarot Circle?  We talk about the cards, and about how they related to life.  We always do at least one reading.  Whether you are brand new to tarot or an experienced reader, you will always learn something new about the cards, and something new about yourself.
