Poetry in Tarot: The High Priestess

Here’s a new occasional project I’m playing with. It’s called “Poetry in Tarot.”

The idea is simple. I’m matching excerpts of poetry with tarot cards.

For beginning tarot students, I hope this exercise will help solidify the energies of each card. For experienced readers, I hope this might give you a new twist, or a greater understanding.

My first effort is the High Priestess, paired with a few lines from one of my favorite poems, Desiderata, by Max Erhmann.

Let me know what you think!
