Tarot in My Life: A Gift of Another Sort
There is the physical act of giving and receiving gifts during the holidays, often a thoughtful material item from a friend or loved one. But consider another kind of gift, one not so initially obvious: The gift of a lesson.
A "lesson gift" is something that through serendipity or an "a ha" moment, presents itself at just the right moment.
At Christmas time we are hypersensitive to charity and gift giving. Let's also be spiritually aware of the gifts the Universe or Spirit or our God offers us during this season. Let's open our hearts and our minds to these quiet gifts because they offer us a chance to learn a new skill, a new way of thinking or a new way of being as we travel our spiritual path. They may last only a moment or they may last a lifetime.
A Tarot Gift Card
To receive your personal "lesson gift" this Christmas, choose your most trusted Tarot deck, draw one card and ask, "What gift is the Universe giving me this Christmas?" Without looking at the card, place it in a box and gift wrap it.
On Christmas know that a very special gift is awaiting you. As you open your Tarot Gift Card take a moment to embrace its exceptional message with awe and wonder because it is the “gift of a lesson” that you need to learn on your life journey.
And, like all gifts, accept it graciously.
