Writing Projects and Publications
Writing about Tarot, and about life, is becoming more of a priority for me. I joke that I am so busy doing Tarot I don't really have time to to write about it! But little by little, I am working to make time in my life to be the writer I know I can be.
I knew I wanted to be a writer when I was young. My Grandmother encouraged me, and was probably dissapointed that I didn't make writing my primary career choice. My first publication credit in a national magazine was when I was about ten, when I had a fan poem published in a teen magazine (it may have been Tiger Beat Spectacular, and the teen heart-throb was Butch Patrick).
In 2002 and 2003 I was a columnist for the Resident Newspaper in Southeastern Connecticut. My column was primarily a question-and-answer format. During that time, and for a few years after, I also wrote a few features for the Shoreline Times in Connecticut. I am always happy to contribute an article to a website, newspaper, or newsletter.
I enjoyed being a regular columnnist for Tarot World Magazine during its short life. Those articles are in the library of this website.
A pet personal project is the 78 Poems Project, also on this site.
I have two self-published instructional CDs that are available for sale on this website. One is about the Major Arcana of the Tarot, this other is a Creative Meditation CD. There will be more CDs available soon.
Creating the CDs combines my love for radio, theatre and writing. The CDs are unique and very popular.
New technology has given us so many ways to express ourselves, and to be creative in the public arena. I think about podcasts, videos and other fun projects. I have the ideas, I have the technology. . .I just don't always have the time.
And that's ok, because I'm busy doing the thinks I love doing most, giving readings, teaching classes, and leading workshops and rituals.
My first book, Fortune Stellar, is now available from Jupiter Gardens Press.
