Tarot Topics 12/31/2014: New Year's Eve

2015

My regular weekly newsletter, Tarot Topics, will be back in your inbox next week.

Iwanted to share with you some thoughts about the end of one year, and the beginning of another.

Throughout each year, there are special dates that have spiritual significance for astrological reasons, or commemorative reasons. Compared with the power of a solstice, an equinox or a special anniversary, the arbitrary date that marks the change of our modern calendar may seem contrived, mundane and unimportant. Yet, the transformative power of a new year cannot be underestimated.

At this moment, all over the world, people are reviewing their past, and anticipating their future. The change of the calendar gives us all opportunity for reflection, goal setting and new hope. This is perhaps the only time each year when the entire planet focuses on one specific idea at the same time – the goal of a happy new year.

Traditionally, psychics make predications at this time of year. You can read my predictions for 2015 below.

You can use your tarot deck to make your own personal predictions for 2015. Simply shuffle, and pull one card for each month of 2015, twelve cards in all. These twelve cards can give you an idea of the energies and events you are likely to experience in the coming year.
You can also do some powerful manifestation at this time of year. As well as setting goals and making resolutions, you can also take a moment to hold the vision of what you want 2015 to be for you. The more clearly you can envision your success, the more easily you will create that reality.

Numerologists tell us that the change of the calendar year represents a change of planetary energy based on the numbers of the year. 2014 was a Seven year. Typically, Seven is a number of introspection, valor, individual challenges and accomplishments.  Did it seem to you that 2014 required you to struggle to discover your path, meet your challenges and find your identity?

2015 is an Eight year. Eight is regarded as a number of infinite possibilities. Eight sets the stage for rapid growth, the realization of dreams and goals, and the ability to move forward without fear.
When we look at the numerology, we can see that 2015 is ready to support us as we work to manifest our dreams and goals.

Another tradition of the New Year is to look back, with gratitude, at the year that has passed. One of my greatest blessing of 2014 was you! I am so grateful for your support of my work.  In 2014, you may have enjoyed a reading with me, purchased my books, attended my webinars, joined my Meetups, or hosted a psychic house party. You may even have given a gift certificate for a reading to a loved one! However you and I have interacted this year, please know how much I appreciate you!

I look forward to serving you in 2015 as, together, we rise to meet the challenges of the year, and to embrace the many blessings that 2015 will bring into each of our lives.

With Love,

Christiana

Christiana Gaudet’s Predictions for 2015

Predicting the New Year is a tradition amongst professional psychics.  While I think most of us understand that it is easier to predict for a person than a planet, it’s interesting to look ahead and see what might be in store for us.

The seeds of revolution are already sprouting in many places around the planet. In 2015, we will continue to see social unrest and military action in many regions. There will be tragedies that result in the loss of young lives, both in the United States, and abroad. However, I do not foresee any unparalleled world disasters in 2015, either natural or manmade.

I do believe that flooding will be a problem in a number of places around the world, most notably places where flooding has not before been an issue.

Here in the US, as we enter 2015, our gas prices have dropped significantly. While this may feel like good news, by the second half of 2015 we may see a downside to this change in the oil market.

Nonetheless, the United States economy will continue to recover in 2015. We will see new jobs, new business start-ups and a bit of new prosperity.

In culture, we will see some low-tech trends that get people off their electronic devices. People will gather to play board games, make music and interact with each other. We will also see community-wide games like Geocaching that require both technology and real-world interaction become more popular. More and more, we will use social media to help us connect with each other in real life.

An interesting conversation in the United States about changing state borders, and perhaps creating new states, will gain attention this year.

Another topic of interest in the United States will be education reform, although very little reform is likely to happen.

As the Affordable Health Care Act begins its second year, there will be more support and acceptance of this program. At the same time, the flaws and abuses inherent in this new system will become more apparent.

Worldwide, the Ebola epidemic will continue. While there will be cases of the disease in some new places this year, the efforts to control its spread will be mostly successful.  There is potential for worldwide panic that would be more dangerous than the disease itself.

Each new year holds the promise of being better than the year before, for each of us as individuals, and for the planet. As we greet 2015, let’s hold the vision of peace and prosperity, and work to make 2015 the best year ever!
