On Sunday, September 22 we aired an encore presentation of Christiana's Cafe. The episode I chose to run features Mary Nale, editor of Attune Magazine. I especially like this interview because Mary and I discovered we have some fun things in common. I also loved hearing about the birth of Attune Magazine. In my opinion Attune has become one of the internet's best online metaphysical magazines.

It was also appropriate to air this show again because I will be Mary's guest on Attune Magazine Radio on October 6.
 

We closed the show with a video from Hoop Camp supplied by our resident hoopers, Hoopsofly. Hoopsofly is getting ready to present Florida Flow Fest in Lake Worth this November.

We worry less about things that don't really matter, and pay more attention to the things that do. We worry less about the plan, and more about experiencing each detail along the way. As you probably know, Christiana's Psychic Café is a weekly webcast on the Para Encounters Network. Each Sunday at 9 pm EDT I interview guests, play music videos, teach tarot, perform readings and chat about things of interest to the metaphysical community. Since the show began in December my guests have included a comedian, a tarot artist, a tantric healer, musicians, a hoop dancer, Pagan leaders, diviners, authors and more. This past week our show fell on March 31, which was Easter Sunday and the day before April Fool's Day.  We had a wonderful time celebrating healing, dance, music and the tarot Fool. The King of Pentacles can refer to a particular person in your life. Typically the King of Pentacles is an adult man who is very stable and responsible. He may be good in business and he may be wealthy. The King of Pentacles may also represent a woman who is a strong business leader. Tarot by Christiana   Newsletter 1/2/2013   Epiphany January 6th marks the end of the Twelve Days of Christmas. It's Epiphany, or Three Kings Day, celebrated as the day the Three Wise Men arrived in Bethlehem. Some cultures celebrate Christmas on January 6. It's interesting that two of the three gifts brought by the Wise Men, frankincense and myrrh, are valued as sacred and helpful in many magickal traditions.  Frankincense and myrrh are used both separately and together as incense and oils to help increase spiritual attunement and create sacred space. The word "Epiphany" refers to a sudden insight or a startling moment of clarity. For me, Epiphany is a personal holiday. As a tarot reader it is my job to create those "aha moments" for people. May we all be open to the wisdom of the Universe, and may we have the knowledge we need at the time we need it! Psychic Galleries A Psychic Gallery is an opportunity to do readings in a group. This is a great way for people to get together to share insight and energy. On December 30th I did my second on-line Psychic Gallery, and was once again really happen with the results. On January 6th at 2 pm I will be returning to the home of Pearl Rauberts in Loxahatchee, FL for an in-person Psychic Gallery. Pearl Rauberts holds many sacred and metaphysical events at her home - everything from Reiki to drumming to walking the labyrinth. My New Year Gallery at Pearl's will be a very special event. It is an opportunity to gather in sacred space and receive messages from the Universe. Tickets for this event are $20. Use it for the New Year, or for birthdays and anniversaries. Pull one card at random to represent the year that has passed. It might tell you something you have learned, or something you need to release. It might describe the theme or the flavor of the past year. Now pull a card to give you some insight into the new year. This card might describe the theme of this new year, or a major event that might occur. It might give you some wisdom or advice for the coming year, or suggest what your primary focus for the year will be. Attune Magazine Attune Magazine is a digital metaphysical magazine conceived, edited and published by Mary Nale.  According to Mary, Attune Magazine was created as a way for all of the wonderful souls from the metaphysical community to share ideas and spread enlightenment. The concept for the magazine came to Mary Nale in a dream. All the details for creating the magazine were given to her in this dream, including the inspiration to name the magazine "Attune". Attune has been published quarterly since the end of 2010. Attune always contains interesting articles from people in the tarot and metaphysical community. You can read the magazine on-line or download it to your computer. Mary says she is working on a mobile device download as well. The digital age has prompted a lot of amateur creative projects. Suddenly anyone can make CDs, books, movies, TV shows and magazines. As with only the best homebrew projects, each issue of Attune has gotten better and better. The January 2013 is nothing short of brilliant. The graphics are crisp, the layout is perfect and the content is of the same high quality that Mary Nale has required from the beginning. It's clear that in 2013 Attune Magazine will be one of the best metaphysical periodicals available. Oh, and did I mention the price? Attune Magazine is absolutely free! Mary Nale and her magazine are a great inspiration for me as I begin my own homebrew project, an internet TV show called Christiana's Psychic Café. If I can make my show better each time in the same way that Mary has grown her magazine I will be very pleased and proud! A.  A Webinar is an on-line class, seminar or workshop accessible on your computer, tablet or telephone.

Q.  What kinds of webinars does Christiana do?
A.  I do three kinds of tarot webinars.  Premium Webinars are intensive tarot classes for which the class fee is $20.  Free Webinars are free tarot classes.  Global Tarot Circle is a free informal tarot workshop for the purpose of study, fellowship and fun.
In May I will begin a series of non-tarot webinars on topics such as Candle Magick, Psychic Development and even a Psychic Gallery!

Two of CupsThe Two of Cups is the card of perfect love and perfect partnership.  It predicts growth in current relationships, and can be an indicator of a new relationship on the horizon.  It recommends heartfelt communication with the people we hold dear, and can portend exciting new partnerships of all kinds!

This card also admonishes that one should be a good partner to oneself.  We must treat ourselves with respect and kindness.

This week’s special read is the April edition of Attune Magazine.  Attune Magazine is an online periodical by tarotist Mary Nale.  This month’s edition has articles by many tarot notables, including Bonnie Cehovet, Amethyst Mahoney, Joanne Matthews and Christiana Gaudet.
