The Six of Swords reversed shows that sometimes we resist logical thinking; the very thing we need to move forward to calmer times after the shake-up of the Tower. The Queen of Sacred Circles (Pentacles) reminds us to nurture ourselves and others. Nurturance and logical thinking bring healing after change, and move us forward to a more peaceful and prosperous time.

This week I used Ciro Marchetti's Legacy of the Divine Tarot to deliver this profound message. On the mundane side, beware of exes and unwelcome old friends trying to make a reentrance into your life this week. DonÕt be drawn in by feelings of nostalgia!

Be open to welcome new love into your life. In all things, look to the future, not to the past!

On a deeper level, look within to discover the ways you might be resisting personal change and growth. How can you bring more love to the world this week? How can you practice radical compassion in your life?

The cards I drew were Death reversed, Knight of Cups and Six of Cups reversed.

Global Tarot Circle August 29, 2018

Readings, and conversation about deck creation, tarot spreads and how to run a tarot meetup!

Global Tarot Circle on Facebook Live, our monthly online tarot gathering, happened Wednesday, August 29. It’s amazing to conduct tarot readings for each other as a group, even though we are separated by miles, and in some cases, oceans.

Our topics of discussion included the Hermit, designing tarot decks, tarot spreads, and how to run in-person tarot meetings.

I also shared the three-card spread for acquiring wisdom from my weekly newsletter.

Some of the best things that happen at Global Tarot Circle are the connections people make with each other. Neighbors meet each other and make plans to study tarot together and support each other’s meetups. People from around the world meet each other and become friends. We don’t often thing about tarot as a tool that brings people together, but it is.

The next Global Tarot Circle will happen Monday, September 24th at 7 pm EDT.

Global Tarot Circle is really taking on a life of its own! Each month the format seems to both solidify and expand as tarot lovers from around the planet join together on Facebook Live for an hour of shared readings and discussion.

The practice of shared readings is enlightening and informative, not only for the person who is receiving the reading, but for all. Seeing how each person interprets their card in context is educational. That cards pulled all over the globe come together to form a cohesive reading is remarkable.

Last night we had some conversation about professional reading, including ways to build confidence, pricing structures and reading styles.

We spoke as well about burnout, and tarot activities that don’t involve divination.
