Bright Blessings for 2020

Welcome 2020!

AdobeStock_288811209-2500x1667.jpg

New Year’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. While there are many cultures that celebrate their spiritual new year at a different date and according to a different calendar, our secular calendar new year is a time when we all set our sights on renewal, improvements, and hope.

The new year is also a great time for reflection. We can be proud of our accomplishments of the prior year, and proud of surviving difficult times.

Although the new decade does not truly begin until 2021, there is something special about the number switch this year. Twenty-twenty just sounds cool! It’s also the term we use to describe perfect eyesight. That makes the year 2020 a great time to speak of clarity and vision.

As I look back at 2019, I am proud and grateful for so many things. My son received his bachelor’s degree. We moved into our new office. We published the second edition of my book Tarot Tour Guide. I went to Portland, Oregon to present at the Northwest Tarot Symposium.

I hope your year was as productive as mine!

As I look to 2020, I am excited for many things, both personally and professionally. Keep your eyes on my upcoming events to see some of what I am working on. Right now, I am doing “The Twelve Days of Christmas Tarot Epiphanies” on Facebook Live, so look for that on Facebook and YouTube through January 6. I am also excited to be offering a free monthly webinar on YouTube live, starting January 19th.

In the Palm City office, I am happy to announce some guest teachers and leaders who will be joining me in presenting fun, informative events this year. In January Mary Ellen Collins will be presenting a beginner astrology class. In the beginning of February Miranda Lial will host a Murder Mystery Party for us. At the end of February Ciro Marchetti will be joining us for our grand opening celebration! You can make your reservations for these fun events now.

Of course, my first two tarot tours of 2020 are already planned, so I hope to see you in the Tampa area at the end of this month, and in Connecticut and Rhode Island in the spring!

I am so grateful to be able to do the work I do. I thank you for allowing me to be a part of your 2019, and I look forward to working with you in 2020.

May all the blessings of a new year be yours!

The Promise of Something New

Tarot cards for new beginnings, webinars, classes and more.

promise-2500.jpg

The Promise of Something New

A new start always offers hope.

I hope your 2019 is off to a great start – but even if it’s not, don’t worry.

There are a lot of superstitions about New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, but the truth is, what happens in the beginning of the year does not impact or predict how the year may turn out for you.

What is the best creator and predictor of your success this you? You are!

Inherent in every new beginning, be it a new year, a new day, a new job or a new attitude, is a potential for change, and a promise of possibility.

That energy of newness is a magical thing. As we get older it sometimes becomes harder to hope for, or anticipate, great new things. Yet, the more excitement we can muster, and the more optimism we generate, the more likely we are to create something wonderful.

Let’s greet the opportunities of 2019 with hope, with wonder, and with optimism.

New Beginnings in Tarot

It’s interesting to note that many tarot cards can indicate the beginning of something new. Here are my favorite heralds of new energy in tarot.

The Fool

The Fool can discuss a new adventure, or a new journey.

The Magician

The Magician can talk about initiation; studying something new or taking a step toward a specific goal.

Death

Death is a card of transformation. In this card we may see a change that creates a new opportunity.

The Aces

All four Aces can indicate a new beginning. The sort of new beginning is indicated by the element of the suit.

The Pages

Each Page carries a youthful energy full of promise, and could discuss a new lesson, or a new opportunity to learn. As with the Ace, the type of lesson is denoted by the suit.

The next time you see any of these cards in your reading, know that something new may be coming your way.

If you want to manifest something new in your life, use these cards in meditation and ceremony to help manifest that opportunity.

The Week in Review

This past week I shared a blogpost on my 78 Magickal Tools Blog. The post offers a special tarot spread to predict your year based on the Wheel of the Year. What makes this spread different than other New Year spreads is it also offers an opportunity for you to manifest what you want in 2019.

From Around the Web

Because this is the first full week of 2019, here are some other tarot spreads and techniques for the New Year for you to try.

From the Wild Unknown Tarot, here is a Year Ahead Spread based on the months.

Here is a tarot spread based on the astrological houses from Jess Carlson.

Did you know that we each have a special tarot card of the year? From. Jessi Huntenburg, here’s how to find yours.

Lessons from 2016, Hope for 2017, and Gratitude for It All

Special New Year Edition, with the two things I learned in 2016, a 3-card tarot spread for the New Year and my Psychic Gallery in West Palm Beach.

It wasn’t just the sorrow of celebrity deaths or the rancor of the political season that made 2016 so stressful. Many people, including me, experienced a lot of change and challenge this year.

As we say goodbye to 2016, it’s important to reflect, not only on the good and bad things that happened, but on the lessons we learned.
Sometimes, when we look at a series of events, we can see a pattern or theme emerge.

For me this year, two themes became really clear. One is that you can’t always plan for, or predict, what will happen. However, every difficult thing that happens always brings opportunity and hope with it. And, when you don’t resist the flow of the Universe, it becomes easy to manifest what you need.

I am starting 2017 in a new home, and a new office, closer to family and many friends, and closer to the beach! My father-in-law, whose health issue precipitated our move, is healing from his surgery. We are grateful for good outcomes, just as we accept that outcomes aren’t always what we hope.

Often, the way we tell our stories and view what has happened has a real role in determining what happens next. Do we focus on our losses and disappointments, or do we focus on our accomplishments, learn our lessons and celebrate our victories?

Sometimes, our greatest victory is simply survival – but even that, or especially that, is something to celebrate.

One of the things I am celebrating is a great deal of professional growth in 2016 – a trend I plan to continue in 2017.

This year I was honored to be a headliner at FPG. Even more recently, I was elated to receive the award of “Tarosophist of the Year” from the Tarosophy Tarot Association, the world’s largest tarot organization.

One thing that happened this year that made me (and a bunch of other people) a little sad is that both my books when out of print when my publisher went out of business. However, that story will have a happy ending in 2017 when I release second editions with author notes and updates of both books, and a brand new book!

Another causality of recent changes is that I have found it too time-consuming to release a lengthy newsletter every week. I do plan to continue my Tarot Topics Newsletter in 2017, but may send it on less than a weekly basis.

If you have particular columns and topics that you look forward to, or that you would like to see me cover, please email me and let me know. How can the Tarot Topics Newsletter serve you best?

Now that I am on the Treasure Coast, I have re-purposed my original West Palm Beach Tarot Meetup site, which is now called Tarot Circle of the Treasure Coast. Please join us if you are in the area!

As we end one year and begin another, I am especially grateful for you – my friends, clients, students and tarot peeps. My work is one of my greatest joys. Thank you for sharing it with me, and making it possible.

May 2017 bring your lessons in the easiest way possible. May it bring you joy, love, peace and prosperity.

Lessons, Hope and Gratitude: Three Cards for the New Year

Here is a quick spread you can do in addition to a larger New Year spread, or simply to gain focus for a positive transition into 2017.

Card 1: What lesson can I take from my experiences in 2016?

Card 2: What is something wonderful I can anticipate in 2017?

Card 3: What is something I can be grateful for as we welcome a new year?

After you interpret each position, consider the three cards as a group or a story. Think about what other messages they hold about the year you are leaving behind, and the year ahead.

New On ChristianaGaudet.com

I was so excited to be able to hold my annual Holiday Open House, even though we moved on December First. On December 18th we gathered readers and healers together to give free services in exchange for non-perishable food items, which we donated to Treasure Coast Food Bank.
You can read the story and see the pictures in the gallery on my website. While you are there, you can also see the pictures from Holiday Open House 2010 in West Palm Beach and 2015 in Lutz.

I’ve published my predictions for 2017, with a little bit of a twist. You can read them on my Community Blog.

On my personal blog, I recently published a post entitled “Five Reasons Not to Be a Full-Time Tarot Professional”.
